We are in a very delicate moment of strong health emergency, for which harsh restrictions and precautions have been taken to decrease the infection with Coronavirus.

Today, company have been called to make a great team game with the country, taking important decisions for the welfare of employees and more for all citizens not only of Italy but of the whole world.

Unfortunately, the logistics companies have to face up to a great fight: what usually represents their basis (free movement) today is one of the causes of the crisis we are living. For this, EU countries decided together to stop the crossing of borders for all European and non-European journeys, and to establish iron controls for the transport of goods, involving long queues of trucks at the border crossing points. The consequences for the companies that work in goods transports are a lot, from the lengthening of delivery times to the danger of the goods being damaged but, more important is the risk of contagion for employees and collaborators.

About this, we of ITC Group and Orange Europe, have decided to join forces to guarantee the security to all our employees and at the same time, an optimal organization in deliveries, intensifying working hours (from home) and teamwork, today more than ever!

We don’t stop, together we will strong and will overcome obstacles to guarantee the normal viability of the goods, for our collaborators.

Below, our measures:

• From Monday, March 16th, we activated smart working to protect health of our employees.
• We found FFP3 masks for all our warehousemen whom are working in site.
• We guaranteed a complete kit of disinfectants, gloves, hand wash gel available for everyone.
• We have intensified the work of our cleaning company, which sanitizes the warehouses twice every day.

We can all do something to keep our country’s productivity going, keeping the safety rules! Let’s not lose hope, but let’s fight with our heads held high!
